Hello all! Let's see what I have to say today!

Well, just yesterday I got back from a camp I was sent to.
It. Was. Awsome!
I would list everything I did, but we did so much that I would ramble on for about 50 paragraphs, so instead I'll list a few of the highlights of the 3 day camp.

I managed to cry consistently for the first time in almost a year. That might not sound that nice, but believe me; it was a HUGE weight off my shoulders. Also, because I hadn't cried in so long, I had completely forgotten what it was like. I was quite surprised at how hungry and tired I was after it. Moreso then after all the excercise I had done over the whole camp.

I climbed a thing that they called the "vertical challenge". The camp leader that I asked estimated that it was about 9 metres high. It starts off with a ladder that is hanging from a log, then when you get to the top of that it has a rope net kind of thing you have to climb. Next it has two vertical logs (this bit was called the "icypole sticks" ) and they are chained together in the middle and can spin around while you climb them. they had little metal bits that you used to climb up. Then there was the rock climbing wall section. It was actually the hardest bit in my opinion, because all of the "rock" weren't very good to hold or step on. Instead people just climbed up the supports that held them up

. Then came the last part, which was just three logs. On horizontal that you had to stand on, the next one diagonal which you had to sidestep up to the highest point, then another horizontal one.
When I finally got to the top... The veiw was just breathtaking. You could see a huge amount of water, then way off into the distance you could JUST see the city. It was so faded I hardly noticed it.

I made some great friends! Kathrine, Dina and Cassy were fun to hang around, and both Friday and Saturday night Dani and I stayed up till about 2 30 am talking (which was sorta stupid, we had to then wake up at 7 am to do morning arobics... If we didn't then one of the camp leaders had a super soaker, and lemme tell you, there was a fair few people that went back to their rooms soaked XD )

And now I'll stop talking about it, before I spend the rest of the night recapping everything XD

Oh, and for two days after the climb, My calf muscles and arms (and occasionally my back and waist) where in AGONY. It was so bad I could hardly walk Sunday night

But, if i could do the climb again I would in a heartbeat! ^^
